Types of Band heaters

Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heaters

High-power electric molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements for element temperatures up to 1850°C (3360°F). MoSi2 heating elements are available as straight or bent elements in a wide range of shapes and sizes, all characterized by long life and consistent performance.MoSi2  Heating element is a special material that has the best properties of both ceramic and metallic materials. It withstands corrosion and oxidation, like ceramic materials and has a low thermal expansion. And it also has good thermal and electrical conductivity, like metallic materials. Thermal shock does not have any effect on the element and as a heating element, it can withstand many years of service because of its strength.

Silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements

Silicon carbide (SiC) electric heating elements for element temperatures up to 1625°C (2927°F), available in a wide variety of standard sizes and geometries, or in customized designs to meet the specific needs of various processes and equipment.Due to their high density of 2.4gms/cc (or more), the  Elements are designed to give superior performance. This gives the element exceptional characteristics and additional strength.

Bobbin radiant heating elements

Bobbin heater is constructed using several refractory ceramic blocks assembled together to the required length. The Nichrome wire heating element is inserted into the ceramic blocks, with a terminal block at one end.
This bobbin  assembly is then inserted into  a pre-assembled special protection tube, when used in liquid immersion and gas application.  However,  bobbin heaters can also be used in direct air-heating application without the protection tube.
If with protection, it’s cold drawing seemless thin thickness stainless steel tube, the material is Fe-Ni-Cr-Al-Re alloy, this material has super high-temperature oxidation-resistance, carburization resistance and high temperature strength; and woke on 1300 degrees for long time , anti-oxidation on 1360 degrees for short time .

Metallic heating elements

Ready-made metallic heating elements made from wire or strip in Kanthal® iron-chromium-aluminium alloys or Nikrothal® nickel-chromium alloys for element temperatures between 50-1425°C (120-2600°F).
